Think Laser has succesfully carried
out laser welding of 70um Cu wire to a 18um thick Cu plate with SN120 laser source. Proprietary beam
shaping system allows a spot size of 370um x 85um at a
working distance of 20.6mm.

out laser soldering of electronic components with SN120 laser
source. The system performed one shot soldering of a 500um diameter
copper wire in 600ms delivering an energy of 11,8J. |

Think Laser has been invited to PhAST2006 conference, that will take place on May, 22-25 in Long Beach,
California, USA.
There
we will present our paper 'Real time thermal control in laser diode
microprocessing' and our current activities.

'Applicazioni Laser' a specialized magazine about industrial
applications of laser technology. |

Think Laser Laboratory Group carrying out power
measurements on the final
TL1 laser system. The maximum power was of 120W out of the 600μm
fiber at a wavelength of 808nm.
The system was tested in the cleanroom and then sealed to avoid
misfunctioning due to dust and environment. |
